On a more positive note, the staff we encountered were generally friendly and helpful, especially the night manager who managed to turn off the noisy swimming pool extractor fan that kept us up all night. The cleanliness of the rooms was also commendable, despite the outdated decor. the hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities.
Well, where do I start? First of all, the rooms were extremely outdated and felt like they were stuck in the 80s.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, from the rooms to the common areas. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a heated indoor pool and a relaxing hot tub. The location, although downhill to the town center, allowed for scenic coastal walks and easy access to explore the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Curtis behind the bar. And let's not forget the delicious and filling breakfast, which offered a variety of options including cereals, hot drinks, toast, and a full English breakfast. we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Nothing that we didn't like.

The hotel is conveniently located downhill to the town center, making it easily accessible. Previous guests have praised the comfortable beds and spotless rooms, with some mentioning the great temperature control in the showers. the friendly and helpful staff have been commended for their excellent service, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. the delicious and plentiful food options, including a variety of choices for breakfast, have received high praise. the hotel offers entertainment on multiple nights a week, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.
One aspect that could be improved is the lack of a lift, which can make it difficult with mobility issues to access the restaurant and indoor pool on the lower floor.

Traveling back in time, we were captivated by the rich heritage of Coppice. Enriching our knowledge, we explored the fascinating Kent Caverns and enjoyed idyllic coastal walks. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious, offering great value for money. The indoor pool, though the hot tub could have been hotter, was enjoyable. With two double beds and a single, our family had plenty of space. The plentiful Full English Breakfast, cereals, and hot drinks made our stay even better.
